- Pass courses OREA courses 1, 2, and 3 (can be done in as little as 4 months)
- Sign on with a broker where you must article for two years
- Pass 3 additional OREA courses (including property law) within the 2 year articling period.
Please note that since 2009 the OREA exams have been multiple choice. This has the advantage of offering quick evaluation.
Real Estate Prep offers information sessions, preparation courses and individual tutoring sessions to assist you in achieving this objective.
Our team of teachers and tutors includes: lawyers, licensed real estate agents and brokers, mortgage brokers, property managers and math teachers (yes, math is tested on the OREA exams).

I want to apply for the real estate course and I have Law degree from India but in order to do this course is it equivalent to High School diploma as you requested as a pre requiste.
You will need to contact OREA directly in order to confirm the answer to this question. It is obvious that a law degree from India is more than equivalent to an Ontario High School diploma. But, the problem will be proof.
It might be easier to just invest a morning and take the OREA admissions test. It is probably not a big deal for you. This way you can get started earlier. I know this seems ridiculous – but your objective is just to get started on this ASAP.
