Property taxes are an important expense in owning a property. It is important that you understand how MPAC and the Assessment work. Ontario uses a system which purports to base property taxes on the fair market value of a property. In any case there are many instances in which mistake are made.
This short course is designed to teach you how to appeal your property taxes and how to conduct the appeal hearing.
